01 / The work

Long strokes, even pace

The classical foundation: effleurage, petrissage and gentle friction at a steady rhythm. Choose it when nothing is acutely injured and what you need is rest.

  • 01

    Stress relief

A steady, predictable rhythm that lowers heart rate and breathing, so the body can drop its guard.

  • 02

    Deep relaxation

Moderate pressure held consistent throughout, with no sudden depth changes to pull you back to alert.

  • 03

    Aromatherapy

Essential oil blends chosen with you at intake, carried through the session at no extra charge.

  • 04

    Improved circulation

Strokes directed toward the heart to support venous return, useful for swelling, cold hands and long flights.

  • 05

    Better sleep

The nervous system shifts out of its alert state, which is why many clients report sleeping through the night afterward.

  • 06

    Scalp, hands and feet

Where most people notice the difference. Ninety minutes leaves room for all three.

02 / How it runs

Sixty minutes full body,
ninety for the detail

Swedish massage warms the tissue, moves blood and lymph, and shifts the nervous system out of the alert state most of us live in all week. A 60-minute session covers the full body at an unhurried pace.

Add aromatherapy and the room does half the work before hands ever touch the table. Every technique the session calls for is included at no additional charge.

Common questions

Swedish Massage questions

  • 01

What is Swedish massage good for?

Circulation, sleep and settling the nervous system. It is the usual choice when the goal is recovery and rest rather than treating a specific injury.

  • 02

    Is Swedish massage painful?

No. Swedish work uses long, flowing strokes at an even, moderate pressure that most clients find deeply relaxing.

  • 03

Can I combine Swedish with deep tissue?

Yes. Many sessions open with Swedish work to warm the tissue, then move to deeper pressure where it is needed.
